About The Event
Duke of Edinburgh Silver Adventurous Journey
Bring your sense of adventure to explore learn and grow as a part of your Silver Duke Of Edinburgh Award.
We aim to support you through your training, practise and qualifying Adventurous Journey here at the Boyle by using skilled instructors that will offer you a great challenge while exploring exciting and new places with safe and competent oversite.
You will explore the area and learn about Ecology, Environmental practises, develop personal awareness and personal skills for operating in the outdoors.
Once you have registered we will send through more information such as an Equipment List.
You have the option to attend for all or some of the programme depending on how far along the process you are.
Criteria:
- You must be 15 years of age and registered for Silver or have complete your Bronze Award
- You will be away from home for 5 days and 4 nights
- You need to be involved in 7 hours of purposeful effort for each day of the journey's
